Fully Manual Operation
The entire process currently runs manually — there is no automation script yet. Every comparison is coordinated, checked, and entered by hand.
Current Limitation
There is no independent third-party auditor randomly reviewing comparisons yet. This is a real limitation, stated openly rather than concealed.
No Strategic Advisory Services
Every other limitation on this page is a stage in a roadmap and will change as the operating model matures. This one will not. An AI company being evaluated by the Arena — or waiting to enter it — can never simultaneously be a paying advisory client of the people running it.
This ensures that every AI — regardless of size, funding, or influence — faces the same rules, the same evidence, and the same level of scrutiny.
What Changes Next
Question selection will gradually shift toward a random or community-vote mechanism once enough data exists to build quality-filtering criteria.
Transparency Is Not Optional
BigAIArena would rather state a real limitation plainly than imply a level of independence it hasn’t yet reached. This page will be updated as the operating model changes.
